Honey Process coffee is pulped after harvest, then dried with some of the natural coffee fruit mucilage still surrounding the bean. This method brings out a natural sweetness, fruity complexity, and a smooth body in the cup. It’s called Honey because, during drying, the beans take on a honey-like look and aroma. No actual bee honey is added to the coffee.
-
Our Washed Process coffee is typically cleaner, brighter, and more classic in flavor. Our Honey Process coffee has more natural sweetness, a silkier body, and more fruit complexity because the coffee is dried with some of the fruit mucilage still on the bean.
