Product Description

Estate-grown. Honey processed. Full City roasted for a smooth, naturally sweet Kona cup with deeper body and caramelized sweetness.

Aloha Star Private Reserve 100% Kona Coffee Honey Process Full City Roast is a farm-direct, estate-grown specialty coffee from our family farm in Kona, Hawaiʻi. Crafted from our Private Reserve lot, this coffee is ideal for those who enjoy the natural sweetness and fruit character of Honey Process coffee with the added depth, body, and richness of a medium-dark Full City roast.

Our Honey Process coffee is pulped, then sun-dried with its natural mucilage still surrounding the bean. This careful drying method helps develop sweetness, body, and fruit complexity before the coffee is roasted to a Full City profile, creating a smooth and satisfying cup with more depth than a classic medium roast.

In the cup, expect a rich, balanced profile with notes of dark caramel, brown sugar, roasted almond, hazelnut, dried fruit, and cocoa. The Full City roast brings out deeper sweetness and a rounder body while preserving the clean finish and smooth character that make true Kona coffee so distinctive.

Our estate-grown Honey Process coffee was the winning coffee behind Pacific Coffee Research’s 2023 Good Food Awards submission. The coffee was roasted and submitted by Pacific Coffee Research of Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi, with Aloha Star recognized as the producer.

Best For / Brewing Methods

This Full City Roast is best enjoyed as drip coffee, French press, moka pot, AeroPress, espresso, Americano, cold brew, and iced coffee. Its deeper body, caramelized sweetness, and smooth Kona character also make it an excellent choice for cappuccinos, flat whites, cortados, and small lattes.

For Roasters & Wholesale Buyers

Roasters, cafés, and wholesale buyers looking for a farm-direct Kona offering will appreciate its traceability, estate-grown origin, Honey Process character, and polished medium-dark Full City roast profile.
