Aloha Star Coffee 100% Kona Cascara Tea (Dried Coffee Cherry)

Our 100% Kona Cascara Coffee Cherry Tea, or Cascara tea, is crafted from the dried coffee cherry skin (husk) of our specialty 100% Kona coffee, grown exclusively on our Estate farm. Once the red husk is removed from the coffee bean, it is sun-dried on elevated racks until it achieves the perfect moisture level.

This unique tea has gained popularity worldwide, including in the USA, over the past decade. However, it has been enjoyed for centuries in other countries and coffee-growing regions, such as Yemen and Ethiopia in Africa, and Bolivia in South America. The name "cascara" translates to "husk" in Spanish. Studies show that cascara tea is rich in antioxidants and offers anti-aging and anti-inflammatory benefits. Additionally, it contains about 25% of the caffeine found in coffee beans.

Tree varieties: Arabica - Typica, Red Bourbon, SL34, and Gesha combined.

Origin: 100% Kona, Hawaii USA, grown exclusively in our farm.

Tasting notes: Raisins, berries, apple cider, honey, hibiscus, mandarin. Sweet, floral, and fruity aromas.

Sizes: 2 oz, 4 oz, 1 LB, 10 LB.
